The Permanent Youth Group (also known as Youth SG) is a permanent representation of young people in the Internet Society, which was created in 2015 as the Youth Observatory and composed mainly of young people from Latin America and the Caribbean, the group has since evolved into a global community of young leaders.

The SG Youth regularly participates in the Global Internet Governance Forum, where it organizes various sessions, workshops and networking events for young people; these events provide a platform for young people to network with each other and learn from experts in the field.

SG Youth’s main objective is to promote the development of the Internet as a positive force in society. The group emphasizes the training of young people in Internet governance issues, enabling them to actively participate in regional and international forums.

The main objective of this social event is to bring together young people from various regions of the world to share knowledge, experience, cultural experiences and have a fun time; which will provide an exceptional opportunity for young people to interact and network with like-minded peers, broaden their horizons and take advantage of all the new opportunities they can find in this space.
